Agriculture

Peggy Bennett supports our area farmers. Hi, I’m Pete Van Erkel, farmer in district 27A. Since elected, Peggy Bennett coauthored a bill that prevented DNR overreach, voted for tax relief on ag land, and advocated for common sense buffers instead of the governor’s one-size-fits-all. When re-elected, she will continue to fight for common sense reductions of regulations and overreach by agencies. Join me in sending a strong voice for agriculture back to St. Paul.  Re-elect Peggy Bennett.

College Affordability

Peggy Bennett is helping me afford college. Hi, I’m Evan Nolander and I am in my last year of medical school. Since elected, she voted to freeze tuition at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, plus supported tax credits for families saving for college. Please join me in re-electing Peggy Bennett, she is fighting to keep college affordable.

Evidence Based Government

As a teacher I used evidence based instruction to make sure my students were achieving their goals. Hi, I’m Peggy Bennett, State Representative for District 27A. Just like good teaching, we need evidence based government spending that sets goals and builds in evidence based measurements to evaluate each program’s success. Let’s stop pouring money into programs that are not working. With your vote November 8th, I will continue to work for evidence based government.

Healthcare 1

Minnesota’s healthcare system needs help—rates are soaring, fraud and waste is out of control, and companies are dropping out of MNSure, eliminating competition and choice. Hi, I’m Peggy Bennett, your state representative for district 27A. It’s for reform to make Minnesota the shining star of the nation in healthcare again. I am working with local professionals and others to tackle our healthcare dilemma. I need your vote November 8th to finish this important healthcare reform.

Healthcare 2

Waste and fraud is a serious issue to me. Hi, I’m Peggy Bennett, your State Representative for District 27A. I worked alongside House Republicans to pass a responsible bill that would eliminate the over $1 billion dollars a year of identified fraud and waste in the MNSure program, while those across the aisle called this “pixie dust.” One billion dollars is not pixie dust to me. There is more work to be done to eliminate fraud and waste. Please vote Peggy Bennett November 8th.

Taxes and Spending Cut 1

Like all of you, I live within a budget. Hi, I’m Peggy Bennett, your State Representative for District 27A. Since elected, I have worked hard to respect your family’s budget by voting for a common sense State Budget with smart priorities. I also voted for tax reductions for middle class Minnesotans, seniors, veterans and more. With your vote November 8th, I will continue to fight for common sense spending in Minnesota.

Taxes and Spending Cut 2

Last session, House republicans reached across the aisle to pass a tax relief bill with a bipartisan vote of 89%.  Hi, I’m Peggy Bennett, your State Representative for 27A.  Our tax bill brought relief to families for childcare, college students, farmers, veterans, and more. It was a real letdown to see the Governor veto that bill for a one-word error.  I need your vote to continue making responsible choices with your money.  Please vote Peggy Bennett November 8th.

General:

Hi, I’m Peggy Bennett and I’d like to be your next District 27A State Representative. My code is simple: People before Politics.
